Been a while

Hello DA!

Ok I know I said ages ago how I wasn't going to start a page and just not really use it again, as I did that with the last page I had. Well I have noticed I did it again and I apologise. Uni and work have been so hectic and trouble with my last house and just life getting in the way unfortunately has kind of become top priority.

But I should be back soon (I say this 5 days before Uni starts back up again) to a more regular update on here. With more cosplays and hopefully more Photography on my other page.

So just a very brief and quick update since.... 2011?

Was living in a house from hell thanks to my crappy landlady. Had mould growing in our house through the wall, wall falling down, leaking water tank etc. And then she still took away some of our deposit because of a bed that was already broken when we first moved in despite us living with a mould invested property for....8-9 months? Had trouble getting out deposit back and because she fed us false information trying to find out how she sent it to us, was accused of being a con and she threatened the police. Thankfully no longer in our lives and good riddance.

Almost lost my job due to administration however our store survived and have turned into GAME instead of Gamestation...

Finished 2nd Year of University (barely due to stress caused by said landlady. See above for details)

Moved into new place, and is pretty awesome. Only problem being the Student neighbours upstairs who party till 3-4 in the morning, and act like children running up and down stairs (I like to play my video games in peace and not be woken ridiculous times at night when I have work early next morning or even Uni).

Went on my first family holiday with my partner and her family. (Well mum and little sister) Was the most amazing time I've ever had and I couldn't have been more accepted. Went away for two weeks, had our own place to stay whilst her mum and sister stayed next door, and just explored and had such a experience. First time I've been abroad since I was 11 with my dad. 2nd time I've been on holiday abroad in my life.

Started my 3rd Year of University. Dissertation written in about...2-3 days. And exhibition final piece done in 1 day.

Went to Expo in May and October. Met some awesome people in October, and May was great minus drama with falling out yet still as awesome spending time with two of my best friends and my partner the whole weekend.

Christmas at work was full of customers and this was the first year spending Christmas Eve working, and Boxing day working also.

Spent my third Christmas with my partner's family. Which was lovely, and spent my second year without any contact from my family (minus my recently gotten in touch dad).

New Years.... I got a text message from my brother (who I haven't spoken to in about 4-5 years) saying Happy New Year, and telling me he loves me because I'm his sister despite us never getting along.

So yeah... a few things happened since the end of 2011. Family gained which has been nice, and a few friends lost. But that is life and I know that this year will come with interesting obstacles and so on. University starts again in 5 days, and I have my final project to do, fundraising for my exhibition for my final year in London, and my exhibition in the University to also organise. Have many cosplays I would like to finish and start, and just general life to do, like moving into my first proper home as I will have to be moved out of this student house in July. So saving up money and looking for a place with my partner is going to be interesting. Let's see how that turns out with no more student loans. :S Maybe a new job in the works too if I can't get more hours, which means 4 years of Gamestation/GAME will finally come to an end. Also Graduation. Will I? Won't I? Who knows.

Anyway think I've written enough, it's probably too long a journal now. :S
